Minor in Biology, B.S. (Certifiable for Secondary Teaching)
 

Twenty (20) credits in Biology are required (for students with a major in Chemistry, Physics, or Earth Sciences):

  • BIO 121, General Biology I

  • BIO 122, General Biology II

  • BIO 200, General Biology III

  • Biology course electives (8 credits) at the 300 or 400-level

In addition, the student must take:

  • SCI 416, Educational Technology in Secondary Science

  • SCI 417, Teaching of Science in the Secondary School

  • SCI 419, Student Teaching Seminar

  • CHEM 121, General Chemistry I

  • MATH 125, Applied Calculus
