US Schools of Optometry
 

Rather than providing links to individual schools, we list four organizations that should be helpful in learning about training and careers in optometry. The first is the the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO), "a non-profit education association representing the interests of optometric education." Next, a web-based organization called Future Optometrists has a variety of links to sites of interest to students of optometry, plus a list of optometry schools in the US. The remaining two are trade associations that promote research and training for practicing optometrists and optometry students. They are the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.
