Central Connecticut Aikido Club
Aikido is a self-defensive martial art that employs the attackers' body positioning against them. Aikido is an excellent sport for any person at any stage of his or her life that trains the body both physically and mentally.
Aikido Practices: Tuesday nights 7:30-9:30 pm in the Kaiser Hall "Bubble" on the Central Connecticut State University campus, New Britain, CT, U.S.A.
Sensei Tiffany Doan, Nidan, has practiced competitive (Tomiki) aikido for over six years and has studied under sensei Fumiaki Shishida, 8th Dan, Manny Vargas, 5th Dan, Angel Quiñones, 4th Dan, and Sean Flynn, 3rd Dan. She is currently a member of the Tomiki Ronin dojo in the Bronx, NY and Brewster Tomiki Aikido in Brewster, NY. She has competed in numerous national and international aikido tournaments.
