Where does my money go?

With a starting budget of a mere $5,000,000.00 we decided to break down our money in the following fashion over the course of two years:

$2,342,400.00 for Education

  • 175 workers each get $2700.00/year x 2 = $945,000.00
  • 7 managers each get $3500.00/year x 2= $49,000.00
  • 14 secretaries each get $1800.00/year x 2 = $50,400.00
  • 4 Medical Doctors each get $10,000.00/year x 2 =  $80,000.00
  • Office Space $1000/month x 7 offices x 24 months = $168,000.00
  • Miscellaneous Resources for office supplies etc 7x$75,000.00x2 = $1,050,000.00
  • GRAND TOTAL OF: $2,342,400.00

$1,500,000 for treatment and vaccine development

  • $1,500,000 for treatment
  •                 $,1000,000.00/$300= 3333.33 persons treated with Eflorinthine in the late stage.
  •                 $300,000.00 goes for early stage treatment drugs consisting of Pentamidine (Tbg) and Suramin (Tbr) and future development of those drugs
  •                 $200,000.00 goes towards developing a vaccine
  • GRAND TOTAL OF: $1,500,000.00

$1,157,600.00 for Proper Screening methods

  • $800,000.00 goes towards screening now
  • $357,000.00 further research into finding a new cheaper and effective method of screening
  • GRAND TOTAL OF: $1,157,600.00

Since this project is a two year program, we want to treat the most infected individuals as possible. Therefore there will be a lower amount of infected individuals therefore at the end of the two years, hopefully there will be a lower amount of infected individuals. Then after the two years has expired more time and effort can be put towards screening to prevent further infection.
