COURSE DESCRIPTION: Introduction to cellular,
genetic, evolutionary, and ecological principles with laboratory emphasis on
application of basic concepts.

ATTENDANCE: Attendance at lecture is your
responsibility. However, attendance in
laboratory is critical. Students who
accumulate more than one unexcused absence in lab will FAIL the entire course.

GRADING: The lecture portion of the course counts 80% of the final course grade while the laboratory makes up the remaining 20%. The following shows how the course grade is determined:
EXAM 1 = 25% Please note days exams are scheduled.
EXAM 2 = 25% Contact me if you have a scheduling conflict
FIN.
EX. = 30% for any of the exams so
that we can schedule a time LAB =
20% for you to take the exam. Makeup exams will not
be given for unexcused absences.
