Leiva 3646 (Mione 743) was discovered 21 Mar 2007, by Segundo Leiva G., T. Mione and Leon Yacher, in the city of Cajamarca, at 07 10.013, 78 30.855, 2782 m of elevation. Shrub 70 cm high, not leaning on other plants, stems not hollow. Up to 9 flowers per inflor including buds. . Lower half of filament hairy. Undeh anthers light yellow. Corolla lacks lobules. Ripe fr orange, 12 - 13 mm diam, X 9.5 mm, an oblate spheroid, 6,7 fruits per infruct. Calyx diam at fr maturity: 17 mm.
