Orange fruits many species of the Andes and the single species of the Galápagos Islands
Black/dark purple fruits species ranging from Arizona, USA to Bolivia
Green fruits (at fruit maturity) two species of Mexico and one to three distantly related species in Peru
Red fruits some species of the Andes and the single species of the Greater Antilles
