La Libertad T. Mione, S. Leiva & L Yacher 650; S. Leiva, T. Mione & L. Yacher 2345 13 Jun 1999 At this data entry session, Jul 09, I can't remember how many people Segundo Leiva asked while we were at the plant Jul 09

Laferriere (1991) noted that fruits of J. procumbens are consumed by the mountain Pima of Chihuahua, Mexico. At that time only J. procumbens was recognize as growing in Chihuahua. Later it became clear that two species of Jaltomata grown in Chihuahua (Mione & Bye 1996), and thus until I study his voucher specimens I do not know which species (one or two?) Laferriere saw consumed.
