Shrub discovered by Segundo Leiva G., 19 May 2008, in the extreme northern end of Department Ancash, Peru. Roadside.
Rare: I searched carefully and thoroughly for 20 minutes and did not find this species again nearby.

Department of Ancash, Peru, extreme northern end of the department. We parked here for a photo oportunity and discovered the species in the photos above. In this photo I believe we are looking at the town of Pampas.
