During 2007 & 2008 I thought that Mione et al. 738 (Leiva et al. 3641) was J. salpoensis; I was wrong! The molecular (Waxy) data place collection 738 with J. oppositifolia with a 98 % bootstrap value, not with J. salpoensis 706 (=Leiva 3323). However, J. oppositifolia has corolla lobes and lobules alternating, while the corolla of Mione et al. 738 lacks lobules!
