Dr. Clayton A. Penniman (Penniman@CCSU.EDU), Department of Biological Sciences, Central Connecticut State University, developed and maintains this web resource. Two students from the CCSU Department of Biological Sciences also worked on the project. Ms. Mary Ann Costa assisted in conducting the intertidal transect and Mr. Edward Carruthers developed the transect photo web pages.
Outer Island is part of the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge. Education and research programs on the island are coordinated by the
