			(rocky intertidal transect); 
			arrive at 1130 [Low tide, 1215, 0.40 ft]

24 Oct			Intertidal transect data; seaweed identification

31 Oct			Lab exam 1 (1 hr); seaweed and microalgal identification

07 Nov			Field trip for photosynthesis experiment (may combine lab with lecture)

Note that the schedule is subject to change with notification. On occasion, lecture and lab sessions may be combined to facilitate field trips. Other (optional) field trips on weekends, or otherwise, may be announced during the semester. On all field trips students should wear boots or other dry footwear and expect to get wet and muddy!
